Statement of Faith

The Bible: We believe the absolute, sole, authority for faith and practice is the perfect, preserved words of God, which is the AV 1611, King James Bible for English-speaking people.  (Psa. 12:6-7).

Jesus Christ:
We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth (Lk. 1:30-35), His vicarious death for sinners (1 Tim. 1:15), His literal bodily resurrection (1 Cor. 15:6) and His literal bodily return to this earth to reign for a thousand years (1 Tim. 3:16).

Salvation:
We believe SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. That the Salvation of Jesus Christ is freely offered to all those who will acknowledge that they are a sinner (Rom. 3:23), will repent (turn from their self righteousness) (Jn. 16:7- 9; Acts 20:21), and by this alone will receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.  (Eph. 2:8-9)

Eternal Security:
We believe in the eternal security of the believer as part of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ.  (Jn. 10:28; Rom. 8:35-39; Heb. 9:12; 1 Jn. 2:25)

Baptism:
We believe that water baptism for the regenerated believer is immersion in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  (Matt. 28:19)

Second Coming of Christ:
We believe in the immediate return of the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth to catch out His bride (Titus 2:13-15), before Daniel's Seventieth Week takes place. After this He will return after the "Marriage of the Lamb" to reign over the "House of Jacob" at Jerusalem for 1,000 years. (Jn. 14:3).

Righteous Living and Godly Works:
The believer should be separated as much as possible from the world, it’s lusts and entanglements, while being present in the world; (not as a means of salvation) that he should abstain from all appearances of evil as a testimony to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; that the local church should maintain a position of separation from all forms of apostasy, ecumenism, worldliness and any other departure from the written principles of the word of God.  (I Peter 2:11-12; Eph. 2:10; Titus 2:12, 3:14)
